The Nebraska Emerging Talent Awards, launching in 2026, will honor individuals, mentors, and employers driving workforce innovation and opportunity across the state. Hosted by the Aksarben Foundation in partnership with Nebraska’s community colleges and regional collaborators, this new recognition program celebrates the people and organizations shaping Nebraska’s next generation of skilled professionals.

Rather than hosting a single statewide event, Aksarben and its partners are bringing the celebration to each of the six community college regions. This regional focus ensures that success stories in every part of Nebraska, from western communities to the metro area, are recognized and shared locally, strengthening connections between students, educators, and employers.
