The Monarchs. A powerful force since the Aksarben Foundation began, the King represented the past and as a business and civic leader who contributed immeasurably to the Heartland throughout his life and career while the Queen represented the future and hope for continued prosperity throughout the Heartland. Since 2018, the highest honor recognized at the Aksarben Ball is Aksarben’s Most Honored Citizens. This is a nod to our treasured past while allowing all men, women, individuals and families to be honored in this way.
