The Aksarben Stakeholders’ Meeting brings together leaders from across the state to discuss Nebraska’s most pressing issues. One of the challenges facing Nebraska businesses today is the need for more workers in H3/STEM fields. Helping businesses identify opportunities to increase the retention and attraction of high-skill, high-wage, high-demand talent in communities large and small across the state has been a top focus of this meeting and of the Aksarben Foundation for the past five years. This annual meeting includes audiences and speakers comprised of CEOs, entrepreneurs, educators, civic leaders, and others committed to setting goals, creating solutions, and making a positive impact. The work we commit ourselves to today sets the trajectory for the state for the next 20 years and beyond.
