Background

Ak-Sar-Ben Friends is a grassroots organization that supports the Knights of Ak-Sar-Ben’s mission: "To leverage collective business leadership to build a more prosperous Heartland." Ak-Sar-Ben Friends help to build a better Heartland by accomplishing its mission through community enhancement, Heartland development, and youth enrichment.

Ak-Sar-Ben Friends brings together people and communities to support community college scholarships, grants to communities to support local initiatives.

Membership

Your membership in Ak-Sar-Ben Friends supports the Knights of Ak-Sar-Ben tradition of providing thousands of dollars in college scholarships. In addition, it will help fund the community grants programs in Nebraska and Western Iowa.

Other benefits include nominating community leaders for annual Ike Friedman awards, receive invitations to Ak-Sar-Ben activities including Ak-Sar-Ben's River City Rodeo & Stock Show, the Ak-Sar-Ben Friends annual  meeting, the Coronation Scholarship & Ball and the Purple Ribbon Auction.

Memberships are offered at $15 for Youth (up to age 19), $25 for Friend (2 adults), $50 for Sustaining (2 adults), and $100 for Patron (2 adults).
