FLOOR COMMITTEE

The Floor Committee is a social organization formed in support of Ak-Sar-Ben Foundation’s dual missions of community and educational advancement.  Its membership is comprised of emerging and established business leaders that are typically in their 30s and 40s.

The annual cost of membership in 2010 is $900, $505 of which is a tax deductible donation to the Ak-Sar-Ben Horatio Alger Scholarship fund.  The remaining $395 supports the Floor Committee’s community activities throughout the year, including special access to River City Rodeo & Stock Show events, the Royal Court Welcome and Brunch, Floor Committee Banquet, Royal Court Luncheon, and culminating with the Ak-Sar-Ben Ball in mid-October.  Additionally, the Floor Committee hosts other events throughout the year which give members the opportunity to socialize and network with other floor committee members.
